We are all aware of the fact that if we want to achieve anything in life then Hard Work is the Key to Success. It's true! but not for everyone because almost everyone is doing hard work and running a race to get over one another in their life but still there are only a few out of the majority of people in the world who actually become successful. Now the Goal for you is to do your best in your board exams so that you achieve the great results in the end but How?

Here we are not going to discuss what you have been told for so many years the key to becoming successful either by your teachers, parents, or anyone around you but we are going to discuss some of the fundamentals if you follow them then definitely it will be going to boost your performance in studies and board exams.

So let's begin step by step with the detailed procedures that will help you with your time and energy management during your board exams preparations so that you achieve your best.

Let's get Started

Step 1: Don't Study till Late Night

As a student so many times we come across the struggling stories of the highly qualified and successful people as an example of motivation whether an IAS topper or IIT engineer or IIM management student or any other TOP Level University or Civil Services Topper as a word of mouth from the people around us to be like them to become successful and follow them to achieve what they achieved. In that sense, many times you might have been told that these people study 18 hours a day so late at night and they have only one goal that they always wanted to achieve and for that, they left everything and just worked hard and nothing else.

Yes! It might be possible that they have used this procedure or time table to best utilize their time to achieve what they want to irrespective of whatever their reasons may be, it could be due to their comfort zone, or less disturbance etc. but if we talk in the scientific and biological terms this is not a correct procedure to achieve the best for your board exams.

top 5 preparation tips for board exams

It depends on the person and every person is different and so as their procedures therefore if they can prepare the best in the night so you can prepare the best during the day, Its not a law or written in any book where night study is the only way to become successful. Its all about effective Time Management to complete the Task within a predefined time whether it is day or night doesn't matter.

and still, if you feel that people could be more productive during the night and if everyone knows it very well then why board exams don't get conducted in the night? Ask this question to you and I am sure you might be aware of this fact and now has less confusion about whether to study during the day or night.

You live in the present and If you have a task or subject that you want to complete you could only complete it in the present moment therefore whatever the time is right now you need to do it right now also because the body has its energy levels where during early morning when you wake up it is refilled with the energy and after each day during the night our energy levels are very low therefore there is no point to study till late night what we need to practice is to start our day as early as possible every day around 4 am so that you could concentrate well and prepare your level best without any disturbance with a positive thinking and fresh mind.

Step 2: Spend your time on a Subject you are Good at!

In our Education System, whether it is CSBE, ICSE or any other Education Board, Our Academic Curriculum is designed with multiple subjects for an individual student to master at once which are completely different from each other even some of them are in a different language. Therefore it creates confusion in the minds of students to study which subject first and when they ask this question to people around then they get a very strange answer which a student could not analyze on its own and if you follow this kind of advice blindly then it could make you suffer during your board exams.
Majority of the people will tell you to study difficult subject first but it is not worthy for a student to devote his time and energy to understand a subject in which they are not good at and let's understand why it is so.

Suppose you have assigned with five subjects example "Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English, Biology" out of which you know that you are good at only Physics, Biology and English and you are having a difficulty in understanding the rest of the subjects, Now here you need to do a little smart work where you need to work hard not in the subjects that you don't know but on those in which you could perform your best. Now when it comes to other subjects you don't need to forget them completely but you need to understand and analyze the most important topics and concepts that you think will definitely appear in that exam. By this you don't need to study those subjects in great detail but you need to understand the major concepts due to which even if you are able to score a minimum of 65% marks in those subjects and more than 85% marks in the subjects in which you are good at then overall you will score not less than 75 % to 80% marks in your board exams which are considered as a First Division Marks.

Step 3: Don't Meet your Friends Just Before your Board Exam

The Third most important tips for Board Exams and a request to all students is "Don't meet your friends just before your board exam" outside the examination center and this sounds a little strange but this affects your performance during your next 3 hours when you will be there in your examination center and writing your exam.

See you have prepared for your board exam and you are already nervous its natural even toppers are not aliens they are also simple human beings like you and me and even they get nervous, at this time when we reach our examination center before the exam we like to get along with our friends in a curiosity whether we left anything that could be important.

The magic cannot happen in the last few seconds, therefore, you need to have trust with what you have done so far and don't be afraid to reach directly to your center and give your exam. If you meet your friends and start chatting then they might ask you topics and questions that you have prepared or not and trust me this is a situation that could make you blank and more nervous and could strongly hamper your performance therefore you need to go there as solo and win over any subject board exam its not that difficult.

Step 4: Don't Get Emotional and Avoid Stress

Yes, you heard it right " Don't become Emotional and Avoid Stress"It's one of the most difficult times for many students who appear for board exams because they know and feel that the rest of their life depends on board exams. Its a fact that if you want to get admissions to a good college or university after which you want to get a good job then board exams will be the first step towards this successful journey but it would not be wrong to say that we should not limit the possibility in life, there are many fields where getting 90% marks in board exams are not required and even then if you have a good personality, talent, communication skills and so on then you could even earn more than a topper of IIT also, or can start your own business in life where these successful graduates from top universities will work as employees in your company !

Why are in doubt of our potential?

In life, anything could happen and board examinations is just an initial stage in life that is giving you an opportunity to face the challenge and understand your true potential to discover what you are actually good at.

Usually within middle-class families in India and the parents of 90's didn't live their childhood in the technology age like we are in right now and things evolved very rapidly in the past couple of years, what your parents actually want is to make your life safe and secure for which they want to deliver each and every possible option in front of you to make your life secure, that is why they have expectations from you because only you are the only one for them.

So here you need to focus on increasing your productivity to give your best shot in the board examinations and you don't need to get involved too much to affect your health, take to much stress and sacrifice your mental peace for board exams.

Step 5: Things to Learn during Board Exams

One of the most important preparation tips for board exams is that you need to understand its importance first, until and unless you know why it is actually important for you, it will be difficult for you to understand the situation.

First of all, you need to clear your goal and understand that Board Exams are not just for getting good marks to promote yourself for the next available opportunities but you need to identify that it is an outcome of your efforts.

Board Examinations are not just promoting you in your life for the next stage but there are many other factors involved in it which are developing your overall personality as a human being.

In this time zone at the early stages of your life to achieve something in your life is not only teaching you how to study and work hard but it is also teaching you pressure handling, time management, decision making, creativity, responsibility and many more.

This is enhancing your overall personality and it is not a race with anyone else its an opportunity for you to give your best to be your next level.

Always remember that life always goves you a second chance and if you think that you are not able to top in board exams then you don't need to worry because if you see even the biggest entrepreneurs and business tycoons are even college dropouts so in life its not a rule that if you get 99% in board exams only then you will be successful otherwise not.

But for you we wish you all the very best and advice you to give your 100% and definitely if you analyze and follow the above guidelines then you will score the best in your board examinations.
