This is mainly due to lack of awareness and available options to choose best career opportunities during the early stages of school days where it is required in class Xth and Class XIIth which ultimately results in choosing a wrong career path. 

Due to the generation gap between parents and children, there will always be a difference of choice and since students are dependent on their parents or guardians, therefore, they need to follow the career path instructed by their parents.

Here even parents are not aware of the reality of the career path they are directing their children into and if the student is not born for that career option it creates a pressure in their minds which leads to early depression, stress, lack of motivation and many more. 

During this phase students can’t express their grievances directly to their parents because it turns into an argument and not even with their friends due to lack of trust and feeling of being ashamed about their situation, This is where they need an in-human- support from someone they can trust, by keeping their individuality confidential, listen to their problem and suggesting the practical and best suitable options they could carry themselves forward to lead their life confidently and their choice of field becomes their motivation pursue in life. 

In India, there are a lot of students who are forced to join coaching centers, who advertise themselves to provide the best coaching to become an IAS Topper, IIT toppers etc. and try to indoctrinate a wrong path in the minds of their parents and students, and in return charge a hefty amount of money.
